Recently constructed in the growing Bluffton/Hilton Head market, The Palmer was acquired off-market from an 87-year-old entrepreneur with diverse holdings. Though he had never sold an asset, the property's "one-off" position in his portfolio created a unique opportunity, allowing Springer to acquire the near-new property at a large discount.

The Impact

Springer Capital injected $5 million of capital into the property to modernize the interior finishes and amenities, making it more comparable with properties of similar vintage in the sub-market. The improvements demonstrate Springer’s ability to source off-market opportunities and create value through expertise and a strategic capital allotment.
